Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 raises the max level cap players can reach. The new season raises the level cap and adds new Prestige ranks players can get. Unlocking new Prestige ranks will also unlock challenges with exclusive rewards. So what is the new max level cap?

What is the Modern Warfare 2 max level cap?

The Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 max level cap is 650. There are four new Prestige revels, unlocked every 50 levels. Reaching a new Prestige rank will unlock challenges for exclusive rewards, including animated calling cards and icons. Once you hit rank 650, you won’t be able to level up any further until the launch of Season 4

The previous rank cap in Season 2 was 500, and progress is not reset for the new season. You’ll keep everything you unlocked in the last season, but you’ll have to get above level 500 to unlock the new challenges and icons.
